Hearing they already appealed it and had it reduced to 7 from 10. That was the delay. How do they appeal a suspension that wasn’t even known or announced to the public? Then all of a sudden some people knew it was 10 games then appealed and reduced, something seems fishy!! On second thought - maybe my source is wrong? I definitely don't know everything. You get tips and messages and you decide what looks credible and what doesn't. A lot comes down to gut feelings - and of course - when sources are rarely if ever wrong - you tend to believe them. I like to think I'm fairly good at determining what is and what isn't a reliable source. Maybe the 7 games was the original number and they simply took a few days to get it up on the league website? What I find is that if multiple people are telling you the same thing - there's usually something to it. When something comes from a single source as it did in this situation - you need to rely on things like credibility and reliability. I thought it was a credible source and the source was never wrong in the past. As board admin - that's about all I can do. As always - take all posting and sources here on the forum for what they are worth. I'm definitely more credible in some eyes than in others. . . Will Boudreau actually get the start for the Caps in Game 5? I don't know - but I can assure everybody it came from a very good source. . . I didn't just pull it out of thin air. . .

I agree ap. I expected 5-10 games max. The question I have is Duquette just following direction but misinterpreting the message or is he lacking a bit upstairs and thinks this is his way of contributing in a role. Either way it’s surprising because the Caps always have a tough aspect to their team but this has to be embarrassing. Maybe I’m wrong lol Finally some common sense....and let's cut this kid a little break, this time last year he was playing U16 AAA, making such a dramatic jump from U16 to U18 to Junior A in such a short time is going to come with a lot of learning curves. Learning curve??? That you can intentionally run a goalie and you only get 7 games. I don't blame the kid cause I'm sure he didn't do this on his own accord.

So Jake MD, a player who has been in the league since couple of years, who has no history of dirty play gets 15 games for what most believe was a non intentional, bang bang play that sometimes happens in a contact sport, yet this meatball who is in his first year, plays 3 minutes per night and already has a reputation for being a clown, only gets 7? Further evidence that Howatt is corrupt and dishonest. Summerside (BMG) is running the league and it will be the laughing stock of Canadian Junior A.
