He just went down to tell Sims that his job is probably safe. That it wasn't all his fault. It wasn’t ALL his fault but his starters job should be all but certain at this point. Sim’s only threat at the starting job was traded to the T-wolves at the deadline, Boudreau doesn’t take over the net but if you ask me, Rouleau would already have the net over Sim if he didn’t request the trade at the deadline.

Wonder if he saw the writing on the wall and figured he would look to play somewhere else and have a chance to compete? And yea if he was still with Summerside he would be in the net for sure.

At this point was would the caps lose going to Boudreau ? Lose the game go back to Sim. Obviously he needs a reset and for their sake if they want to beat the wolves it may be what is required. If Boudreau goes in (which in my opinion he should be awarded the chance) and wins then ride that wave. Wolves obviously proved they can score no doubt about it. It’s going to come down to keeping them to a minimum and making that one key save to hopefully spark your offence.
