Flanigan definitely deserved that first star tonight, the wolves struggled to get any momentum in the 2nd but Jack stood tall and kept them in it. Miramichi need to be a little more controlled in their puck clearing plays, the amount of times they got caught in their own zone trying to play the puck against a very aggressive Caps forecheck and it cost them, almost the game! I'm not sure who Billy goes with Tuesday, Sim's GAA is not good but Niko should have had that knuckleball puck that fluttered by him, that being said he didn't expect to be in net tonight. Tuesday is a new game and never count those Caps out yet.. see you in Summerside!!!! It should be Niko in net but it’s Billy… With Sim being a 20 year old and potentially his last game of junior, Billy won’t sit him. He’ll be starting. Should he be? No….. but, he will.

Tuesday is a new game and never count those Caps out yet.. see you in Summerside!!!! It was deja vu with Sim & Billy again when Sim was pulled for the 2nd time in as many games in Miramichi. Once again he stared Billy down after getting the hook, motioning towards the score on the clock and then storming straight down the tunnel as Boudreau entered the game. Based on that, and the spark it gave the Caps, I wouldn’t be surprised if Boudreau is in the net next game. Wolves were lucky to get away with that one as they didn’t have the same relentless forecheck going that they had in previous games. Caps looked good but other than that 2 minute spurt in the 3rd, Flanny was rock solid between the pipes and looked very confident. Wolves also need to keep Doucet on the ice and out of the box. Caps scored 2 of their 3 goals during a 4 on 4 while Doucet was off with Irvine.
