Anyone curious on the choice of Howatt to start Game 5, here’s a quote from Fife in the PEI paper. “Both goalies are the reason we are here in this situation in the first place,” said Fife. “We wouldn’t have made the playoffs without both of them. “Lyam has had a lot of shots the last couple of games (160 through the first four games), so he’ll go back in the net for Game 6 and Game 7 if we need him.” Imagine this means Leblanc goes back for Game 6 It makes sense. Lyam is a different goalie at home too, its a catch 22, if Rams win last night, Fife is a genius. ''Live by the sword, die by the sword'' The move made sense, PEI kid, solid goalie, Leblanc has let in plenty of goals in Summerside and when he plays in Amherst hes a completely different goalie, so why not. It was a ballsy move but Howatt wasn't the reason, in the slightest, that Summerside won the game.. he made some really big saves to make it not get out of hand and to keep them in the game.

Agree 100% with you. Leblanc feeds more off of confidence and the crowd (young goalie and that’s okay), so makes sense. Howatt played great last night too.
