Rams made a Great Run and should be positioned to build from that moving forward . Great seeing the comments about the Jungle coming back to life . A lot of that credit has to go to Phil Fife , he did a tremendous job bringing the organization back to the Fans and the community and the product on the ice speaks for itself . Phil is a proven winner at this level as a player with both Woodstock and Truro and spending 3 seasons as an assistant coach under Jason Tatarnic with the Estevan Bruins certainly paid dividends . If the Rams Brass allow Phil to make decisions , he will build a League contender within the next couple of seasons ....

Thanks so much to Phil Fife and the coaching staff for all you have done(hope you all will be back next year!) Thanks to the players for playing great hockey this year and making it into the playoffs!! Your fans sure were behind you!! Have a wonderful summer everyone!!

Highly entertaining game with both teams having plenty of scoring chances only to see the goalies come up with big saves. I didn’t check the website but Leblanc certainly deserved consideration for player of the game. I though the Ramblers might have had a better fate if they would have gotten pucks to the net quicker rather than looking for the perfect shot. It also seemed that the Ramblers were a bit too comfortable playing an east to west game with the puck in their own end which eventually led to the costly 2nd goal by the Caps. The Caps have have a bigger more physical team and better goaltending than the Blizzard. The Wolves defence will have their hands full but if they can keep their game simple “glass and out” they will increase their chances against a deeper Caps team.

Another thing in Caps favor was they had 8 twenty year old players while Rams with only 3.
