In an article by Jason Simmonds from last night, Kory Baker is calling for Nova Scotia officials to work the games this series. I hope he keeps that same energy in NB tomorrow night because MIR is infamous for poor officiating and net pegs. when have the net pegs been a issue this year. Only been a problem last series when the goalie was lifting up on them before the face off.

I don’t disagree with you the refs aren’t great there on most nights but usually are in favour of the away team 😆 The peg issue hasn’t been one this year like previous years, they got new pegs they drill now.

They should be already doing it, as much as refs aren’t suppose to be biased, clearly the PEI officials aren’t able to impartial Regardless , Billy and co. Have been around for decades, any local officials will be very much familiar with them, it’s hard to not be biased for sure. Half of those linesman probably grew up watching the caps. That and Billy is non stop calling the officials over to talk, getting in their ear any chance he gets. So he has likely a good relationship with any officials over there.
