Cody MacEachern In updating the NSJHL record book, several things popped up. First, it was a great season by Sonny Kabatay who put up the third best goal (42) and point (92) totals in NSJHL history. Goaltender Alec MacVicar of the Capstone Colts quietly tied the league record for most shutouts in a season with 5. Goaltender Cody MacEachern of the Antigonish Bulldogs became the first league player to win back to back Playoff MVP awards. He has had an outstanding career and would very likely have won the Goaltender of the Year award for four consecutive seasons had they named a winner during the Covid pandemic. In one of those software issues that really aren't anybody's fault, it's a bit disappointing to see the South Shore Lumberjacks name instead of the Liverpool Privateers credited to this past season that will show forever unless somebody goes in and fixes it manually. Not at all meaning to pick - and it used to be an issue in the MJAHL until a few years ago as well. Nobody really cares, but it does throw everything off a bit when it happens.

As you can see in the yearly individual player stats, I'm missing the scoring champions from some of the early 1980's in the Mainland Junior B League as well as some trophy winners. If anybody can help out with any of that missing information, it would be much appreciated.
It's all about the players and their accomplishments, and it would be nice to be able to fill in some of those pieces of the puzzle.
My email if anybody has anything at all is: justpuckinaround@hotmail.com
