Finally getting some games seven around the country.
Blind River completed the 3-1 comeback with a game 7 victory last night.
Cobourg has done the rare feat (same as Blind River) and survived a 3 game losing streak to force a game 7 Tuesday night.
Humboldt and Weyburn have held serve all series and are heading to Game 7 Tuesday night.
Still 3 other series ongoing aside from the Cobourg/St Mikes and Humboldt/Weyburn series. 2 in Manitoba and 1 in the CCHL. The semi finals have gotten underway in the AJHL and QJHL with the rest of the leagues probably joining in by the weekend. With Oakville being eliminated, it's win and you're in for the remaining 40 odd teams left.

Down to 37 teams remaining in the hunt for the Centennial Cup.
Of the 36 series played in the League Quarter Finals, only 7 of the series saw the lower seeded team win.
Of those 7, 5 had only a seeding difference of 1 (i.e. 4v5 or 2v3).
The two big upsets were (7) Canmore over (2) Lloydminster and (5E) Cobourg over (2E) St. Mikes.
For as tight as a lot of leagues are, come playoff time, if you're interested in winning, you better have done a lot of it during the year.

Two games seven tonight for berths in the AJHL and QJHL finals. Whitecourt and Canmore have traded wins back and forth to reach this point in Alberta. Whitecourt is hosting looking to go to their second AJHL final. First one didn't go so hot.
Terrebonne and Longueuil have made it to game seven the hard way. Home teams just 2-4 during the series. Terrebonne hosts tonight as two of the more successful franchises as of late face off.

Two league finals get underway tonight in Alberta and Quebec.
Elsewhere, Flin Flon and Kam River have wasted no time heading to their respective finals, each with an 8-0 start to the playoffs.
Collingwood is off to a blazing 12-1 start as they await their finals opponent in the OJHL.
As of today, we've lost 6 of the CJHL Top 20 with at least one more from Manitoba to be added to the list. Quebec will have an unranked representative at the Centennial Cup as both their ranked teams fell in the semi finals.
Reminder, the link to the spreadsheet is at the top of the thread along with the status of all the Top 20 teams.
