Could be the easiest path for an MHL team to win a title in Centennial Cup history. Believe it when I see it. But would love to see it happen again, even if it's less meaningful without the BCHL & the top Alberta teams competing for it.

Some updates on a couple leagues.
Winkler punched their ticket a couple nights ago to rep the MJHL, Collingwood won their 2nd straight OJHL finals, and Sudbury won the NOJHL with one of the strangest yet most talented teams I’ve seen out of their league, I’ll make a whole post on them down the road.
Flin Flon has made their series 3-2, and can force a Game 7 on Home Ice with a win tonight

Since the Hockey Canada website is a heaping pile when it comes to following along the tournament, I had some spare time to create another sheet to track the tournament. Thank goodness nobody can investigate the formulas used to populate the sheet since I'm sure someone would make a call to my employer and question my continued employment.
It's available at the same link at the top of this thread. At the bottom click on the sheet titled "Centennial Cup". It contains the full schedule and standings that will update as soon as I input the scores. I have to manually break ties so those might not be broken until the mornings when I get to my computer.
Thanks for following along. Only 3 spots left!

Only two spots remaining at the Centennial Cup thanks to Melfort taking Game 6 on home ice. That win sends #2 Flin Flon home without a berth a nationals.
Tonight Navan can make it only 1 spot remaining with a road win in Smiths Falls. Tomorrow Miramichi can close out on home ice.
The field will be settled by Saturday night at the latest and it's looking truly like anyone's tournament with a possibility of only 5 of the top 20 teams in attendance.

... and then there was only one spot remaining.
Navan becomes the first CCHL since 2013 not named Carelton Place or Ottawa to win the league. It's actually Navan's first ever CCHL championship.
Miramichi can close out the field tonight at home, or we'll have to wait til Thursday night in Summerside before things get going next Thursday in Oakville.
