Miramichi re-visits the Credit Union Place in Summerside with the series knotted at one a piece and I am sure they could not be happier with the result!
If there is ANY pride in that dressing room, Summerside should have a fire lit under them after the embarrassing performance last night in Miramichi..... they've been seeking to play a full 60 minutes in which they certainly did that, however, they were consistent-ly bad for the full 60 minutes.
Generally, I may say; ''will Mcguigan have Sim sit on the bench and see if Boudreau can provide a spark and a solid Game 3 for them?''.... but EVERYONE and their dog knows Drew Sim will be in that net tomorrow night... undeservedly so.
Summerside, I am sure, will want to get started off on the right foot and come out of the gate full of piss and vinegar and take control of the game early. For what it’s worth, Ryan Harper will return from his 5 game suspension from the last series for his Match - Slew Footing.
If you're Miramichi, you really don't have to change anything.. ok, stay out of the box (obviously) but that is well known, they really could be up 2-0 in this series right now and have outplayed Summerside thus far IMO.
Game 3. Credit Union Place. Caps vs Wolves. Be THERE!
GO CAPS GO!

If anything, all eyes from across the league will be on officiating in this game - especially with Eastlink covering the game.
The SOG on the game summary from Game 2 show 55-26 in the Timberwolves' favour - but the story on the league website says 45-26.
Not sure which one is correct - but I can't remember the last time the Caps were outshot in a game. It might have been fairly recently - but usually that sort of thing catches the eye. I honestly can't recall seeing the Caps outshot in a playoff game this year.
The Eastman - Rutledge line didn't seem as dominant in Game 2. I don't know if fatigue is setting in - or maybe the Timberwolves have found the right players to have out against them?
I don't know what it is - but both were held off the score sheet and had 5 game point streaks ended.
Can't see the Caps not going with Sim. He got them this far - and he's due for a big game.

To be fair, Sim hasn’t really done anything to get them this far. Their firepower up front + Irvine has gotten them this far. They are a powerhouse as side from goaltending. I think their backup would be just as sufficient at this point. He’s certainly not showing his worth for what they paid for him imo

The Caps were out skated, out hustled, and out played the entire game. At no time did they have sustained pressure in the Wolves zone. The coaching staff looked cute in their matching hats though. Obviously the wardrobe selection did not just happen. I know it may seem a small matter but to me it indicative of a casual approach to the game. The Caps did not compete in any zone and were extremely challenged by the Wolves forecheck resulting in many turnovers, scoring chances, and ultimately goals. Certainly not what people have come to expect from island teams. I think the Caps came into game two with an air of superiority but they left with no air in their tires. Players today don’t want to put up with the nonsense of game two and it makes me wonder if the coaches have lost the room. The Wolves made a statement with their play on Sunday. The pressure is squarely on the shoulders of Billy and his staff to have their own statement game tonight.
