I think the officials did a great job tonight and I don't have any complaints. The facts do show the Timberwolves with 11 of the past 13 minors called against them in the two PEI games. Take away the coincidental minors to Porter and Rutledge - and 10 of the last 12 minors have gone against the Timberwolves. I don't think it's because the Caps are a cleaner team. I think the experience in the officials tonight really showed. They knew how to keep control while letting them play. The players respected them. HaHa - wasn't meaning to go down Referee Road. GOOD JOB! Caps got in alone a couple of times with some speed and skill - barging through. Flanagan and Sim both made some big saves. Final shots were 42-42. Hard to argue with the 3 Stars - Robert - Foston - Crane. Tim Porter had a big game as well. It was great to be able to watch them play and battle hard without the constant whistle. Scrolling through socials this morning looks like the caps have shut of comments on their score updates.
